PWJ
#1 Ruuca is a late scratching in the last To win- Maximillions need: Bold Style to win for Max (possibly 4-1 win if it pays $20.40+ or Niedorp completes the Q for Georgy) Five-Oh need: Aquitaine to win for Punter Pete (must pay $3.00 or Iced complete the Q) OR Iced to win for Punter Pete OR possibly a Better Reflection-Niedorp quinella in that order for John and hope it pays enough The Tigers and The James Gang can't win

Defeat for The James Gang now sees two sides breathing down their neck for the last Finals berth after Covid-Y won impressively today and Hall of Fame also scraped through for a victory although they lost a place on the table. Roland's Roughnecks demolished The Tigers today and climbed above them although both sides are out of Finals contention, The Tigers' hope evaporating after an unsuccessful Joker play. Maximillions and Five-Oh will tough it out for the Minor Premiership in the last round. Going to be an exciting Final round next week....

TooFast
16 minutes ago, Say No More said: Thanks Howie and team Much Too Fast for a great match - went right down to the wire with a few twists at the end - Aquitaine will win it for us, no it won't, yes it will! Congrats Rex - great tipping today and great to have you back. To my team-mates who carried me today - fantastic work. Stonking finish Punter Pete! Thanks, John. An absorbing match where the lead swung backwards and forwards - made for a very exciting Saturday afternoon's entertainment ...again. The winningest team in the comp with those fleet of 3-2 wins....you 'Five-Oh' guys sure know where that finishing line is. So not surprised to see that barn-storming finish. Punter Pete was Geoff and my' team-mate in our very first PJ Comp back in the whenevers, for Butcher Boys I think it was....and he made a habit of doing then what he did today. The very best of luck for your final Round Robin match, team 'Five-Oh'.....that Minor Premiership is beckoning. I had a few dollars on 'Iced'in the last, @ $35 ......it's form was good ....but never thought to take the quinella. $50 return for each dollar invested would have been nice. Hard luck my guys ....plenty of effort ....and we went very close. Top effort in particular from Rex ....showing why he's such a vital member of the team. Welcome back, Rex. Job well done. Thanks again for another wonderful day's entertainment, PJ. Bad luck that your team struck Gee at his very best. The luck just didn't run your way this comp, because certainly your roster is the equal of any team in the comp. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, folks. 😊
