Heather edged Graeme for Maxmillions MVP honours while Virgil pipped John by $1.00 for the Man of the Match title.

A torrid encounter saw The Tigers come out on top in the last as Maurice bagged a beaut BB to down Ian by less than $8 and clinch the win. Robert snagged a BB and Jamison a beaut BB quinella to ensure Hall of Fame came away with a bonus point for a team profit. Jamison was MVP for Hall of Fame while Jill put up a huge score to take Match Star honours. The Tigers took a much needed bonus point for a team profit with much thanks to The Tigresses today.

The Maxis lost today allowing their conquerors - Five-Oh - to close within two points of them while Much Too Fast's win leaves them only 5 points off the lead in the Minor Premiership. The James Gang's successful Joker play has allowed them to build a 5 point cushion over those outside the qualification spots with two rounds left. Defeat for Covid-Y cost them a place today while Hall of Fame gained a place from a team profit bonus point despite losing. The Tigers win has taken them closer to the sides above them but they remain 8 points from a qual spot while defeat for Roland's Roughnecks sees them continue to occupy the cellar. Have we found the finalists ? Just two Joker plays remaining and one of those is The Tigers who need an optimum effort next week but well done today team.

Thanks PJ for another absorbing and thoroughly enjoyable day of racing comp entertainment.

Thanks also to our opponents Ray and the Covid-Y for a good, close match ....games are mostly won week in,week-out by small margins ....and the rapidly-closing Krone went very close to taking you to victory today in the last. All us MTF could say was..."phew" ! 😓

Risng star Zac was our stand-out today, and the last man into the team in the draft he is proving to be an absoluter revelation. Well done, that man.

Sadly Rex is obviously not too well, or he would have been with us today, being the enthusiastic and ultra-reliable comp participant that he is. Hopefully we will receive good news from Rex soon. 

I'm 100% certain we MTF have done enough now to have made the Championship Round, but we want to go in with momentum so will be looking for a big collective effort next Saturday against a hugely impressive Five-Oh team.
