PWJ
ROUND 8 (Part 2) - Wednesday October 2 NOTE: Due to the split nature of this Round I will make a ruling here that you will need to have at least 4 of your 10 selections in the remaining 5 races different from your opponent to prevent the obvious tactic of picking the same horses if you are posting second and already leading. Not that I think anyone here would do that. Cloudy and a Soft 6 at Matamata today. We have 5 consecutive races at Matamata to decide this round including the two features. The last two races have good-sized fields with many chances which should see most matches go down to the wire. Remember you must have at least 6 different picks (of 20) for those who post after their opponent Please post on time. Let's have some fun and note the closing time... Close off at 1.42pm (NZ time) Races are: 1. Matamata R4 - 2.42pm - AHD Animal Health Direct - Hawkes Bay Guineas (Gr2) - $175k, 1400m, 3yos SWs 2. All 4 Waikato lads who trail their opponents look a chance to turn their HTHs around. Swampies are checking to see if Jammo has been to the vets and came back two stone lighter. Team profit bonus points are within the reach of both franchises. 92.60 Punter Pete 66 Steve P 177.60 Black Caviar 82 Jack 333.60 Robert 202 Tom 0 Jamison 257.80 Porky 233 Tassie Tiger 164 Gee 1 MAGPIES (8th) 456.20 4 KAURI KATS* (4th) 747.80 The Magpies misery continues but they have 5 races to turn this one around with Richie and Ian best placed to achieve that outcome. Could well be wet for this meeting tomorrow - so I'll wait to post until midday-ish raceday so I can get an up-to-date handle on what the track surface is likely to be. A shame those morons at Hawkes Bay Racing completely botched last Saturday, when the weather was good. Hope they never get another raceday. They can sit in the naughty corner pondering their future, just like Avondale !

PWJ
Attention Swampies ! Poor effort from Jammo on Saturday in Sydney ($0.00) explained. Found on Bondi Beach Saturday morning after a hard night, somewhat worse for wear it seems. Been told to smarten up for a miracle recovery at Muttermutter.... 4

It's all up to you big fella. Hesi 🏆 going like a Cup winner, and Maurice 🦁 has me struggling. But we hear MC is a bit of a golf tragic . So get yourself one of those Big new 'Titless GT2 Drivers' and send MC up the wrong fairway into the Bunker, The Ferdies could come out with a victory. Good luck putting a winner Tomorrow !! 😋
