Good luck B.S. We seem to get matched up once a year, and looking back in my exercise books these were the results.

17.11.21 Gordy $318.00. Blind Squirrel $67.00

24.9.22 Blind Squirrel $268.00 Gordy $103.00

6.5.23 Blind Squirrel $425.00 Gordy $164.00

Like Hesi, I am having a wretched run of luck, which must surely change.

GO BLUES.

Blues scratching replacements

All Rosehill

Race 6 Roland now 12/13

Race 7 Moose now 2/4

Pete, I think you mean 9 & 12 for Roland. #13 is the scratching

Moose had #5 & #8. Only #5 is scratched. Do you want #2 or #4 to replace it ?

Okay time for some command decisions.

If the HB meeting is rescheduled no later than this Wednesday (2/10) then the comp will still be held across the two meetings. In that case new selections would only be allowed if the venue is switched.

If the meeting is NOT rescheduled within the next 4 days this Round of the comp will be decided on the Rosehill races today

Maybe there wouldn't be slip marks if they hadn’t irrigated?

Cant be that because they told us 4 times in 2 mi utes how good the track manager is

I have to mention this here. After some recent criticism regarding substitute races (meetings) I decided NOT to offer one for Hastings today - would have been Riccarton of course - which has proved to be unfortunate in hindsight.

I may run a poll this week on whether substitute meetings are preferred for Super Comps.

Sounds like they'll be either moving the meeting to another track during the week or integrating the feature races into next Saturday's main meeting. Darin Balcombe seemed doubtful whether they'd even be running the Livamol at Hastings in 2 weeks time.

I read elsewhere that NZTR just sent a bulk email to advise industry participants that HB has been abandoned. Trouble is they configured it so all 800 plus email addresses are visible to all recipients. A serious breach of privacy and trust. These people run our industry 😪
