ngakonui grass
only one horse from the first 7 home in the Hasting event last week has carried forward with its acceptance in the Arrowfield. SKEW WIFF 4TH is in.
Buller Rep
Maybe it will be a better quality of race, as last weeks event certainly wasn't of Group One class in my opinion. Maybe transferring it to Auckland [like the Otaki Maori 1600m race] might save it's Group One status? That at least seems to be the latest thinking from the experts! I realise this is tongue 👅 in cheek, but 2 things 1. Chris Weaver is no longer associated with Auckland, as some wag said many moons ago, now selling mung beans and quinoa for his tree hugging wife 2. That 3 day carnival at HB is great, signals the start of a new season when all the good horses appear. Wo betide anyone who tries to unravel that 1
