Graeme and Anita bagged BBs for The Kauri Kats and with Graeme getting up to nail Gordy they denied the Blues another bonus point. Graeme was MVP for The Kats while Roland was Man of the Match with a handsome tally. 92 Rex 463 Roland 337 Graeme 244 Gordy 145 Dee 217 Rich 166 Sharne 271.60 Pete 219 Anita 234 Moose 1 MAGPIES** (1st) $795.20 1 (x 2 Joker play) equals 2 points 4 HIGHLANDERS (6th) $791.00 3 points Everyone missed ! The Magpies needed Pinstriped or Munhamek to get up in the last and Pinstriped came close but could not overhaul old Roy. They nevertheless came away with a bonus point for a higher aggregate by a mere $4.20 which with the Joker play doubles for a 2 point collect. The Highlanders, spearheaded by Man of the Match Rob, took a bonus point for the 4-1 margin. Ian, unlucky to draw the Robster, was MVP for the Bay Boys. 123 Jason 146.20 Howie 251.20 Ian 281.20 Rob 200 Secret Squirrel 202 Midnight Caller 165 Richie 24 Craig 56 Stevie N 137.60 Lightning Blue 2 CHIEFS (5th) $930.20 1 point 3 SWAMP FOXES (3rd) $828.00 2 points Late sensation here and apologies for not extrapolating it, as Tassie and Jammo snagged the final quinella with that Darned Cat getting up to nail Jack and win it for the Swampies. Porky was the only Chief on the Hayes winner with a best bet. The Chiefs, for whom Gee was Man of the Match can be consoled with a bonus point for a higher aggregate. Blind Squirrel was MVP for the Manawatu crew, who all missed the final winner, while PJ was Man of the Match with 6 winners, a tally also achieved by Heather, Geoff and Ray. 326 Geoff 263 Ray 215 Maurice 231 Ziggy 121 Hesi 87.60 Our Maizcay 352 PJ 80 Gary 333 Heather 287 Blind Squirrel
PWJ
TABLE AFTER ROUND 2 A dominant win for The Blues takes them up 3 places to the top of the table with the Magpies dropping a place despite getting some purchase from their Double Joker play (it could have been worse). A win for The Highlanders saw them rise one place to 5th while The Kauri Kats lost 4 places dropping to 6th. Hesi
Thanks for the match Turbos. Nice to get a win over you guys as I had you as comp faves. Nice going today team with some good scoring. Fortunately, even with a low score, I was able to contribute as my opponent OM had an unusually average game. And of course, thanks PJ, good skills again
