Just as an aside, (and I wasn't one to express discomfort with the use of substitute meetings in the case of abandonments), just my personal opinion but I would be very comfortable if going forwards PJ used only Australian race meetings for his competitions.
I'm a lifelong Auckland, New Zealander . . . but the record in recent years of NZ meetings being called off, abandoned, postponed, discarded is absolutely atrocious. It's got to the stage where we have to have a substitute meeting recorded for every NZ meeting carded in a comp.
I'd go with the professionals, the Australian races, 10 races out of 10.
Of course there will be many with a completely different viewpoint, and that's understandable too.

I prefer Oz racing but their record of postponements in past couple of months not good either. Seems to be at least 3 or 4 meetings each week. As an aside PJ. Càn LB and I call our match off after today's meeting please 😇

G'day Maurice. you're a very lucky man indeed as we celebrate Big wins for the mighty BRISBANE LIONS 🦁 over the Sydney Swams in the AFL Final and also a crunching win by the Chelsea BLUES over Pete's 'Brighton' bunnies this morning

It looks like I let you off the hook Moz lol 🏇👍 . (Am Just not ruthless enough like 5 win gunman Hesi 😂 )

Here's some picks I sent to Craig on Highlanders page , but because you are a terrific bloke 😎 , I have changed off the 'winning Best Bet quinella' which would of got a few hundred in the AMOR VICTORIOUS final Oz race (congrats to you having him selected)  Something made me change off it at the very last second (Craig probably not talking to me now for doing that lol) BUT anyway , It looks like we can resume the Battle at Matamata on Wednesday on the NZ runners ? . I'll have to chase you hard now after All that 😉

8/   2-4

9/   2-4

10/   10-14  BB

might have missed the good win in comp race 10 , but WOW , what a Win yesterday. I'm still spinning . Go Lions !! whatta bloody beauty ! wahooooo . been waiting 20 years for that.

Very annoying when that happens isn't it LB. Congrats to your Lions. Not that I follow AFL that much but certainly didn't see that thrashing coming. My family in Oz are Cats fans so suppose after last week i should have. Well done. Onwards and upwards to Matamata which I must say is not one of my favorite tracks so you are still very much in this game. Good luck and hope you are not still hungover on Wednesday from your celebrations.😃

What a certainty beaten

She is a fantastic filly. Hope she comes to Australia and does an IMPERATRIZ eventually.

That result was weird as in race 3 , a photo finish that Matt Cartwright won (bless him) they put the photo finish print line up on the screen straight away. within seconds of them hitting the line. They refused to do that in the Guinea's for some reason. and left everyone 'hanging'.
