Everyone missed again and Iron Man never got into it for SS ! The Blues held on to win and took a bonus point for a team profit due in large part to Man of the Match Roland who posted a terrific total - well done Champ ! The Magpies, for whom Stevie N was MVP, had a unsuccessful Triple Joker play and lost a point as a result.

Congregation never yelped so The Turbos held on for a comfortable win with Our Maizcay back to form with a Man of the Match performance. The Swamp Foxes, for whom Jamison was MVP, were not able to take any points from their unsuccessful Joker play.

A tough day for both teams saw all 4 of the Ferdies last race chances fail - Well Timed in 3rd was the closest - so the Otago lads held on for a much-needed win with Howie edging Craig for MVP honours. Maurice with 5 winners was Man of the Match - not bad for no confidence !No bonus points were earned.

TABLE AFTER ROUND 5

The Chiefs big Joker-fuelled win vaults them from zeroes to heroes as they climbed 7 places to lead after 5 Rounds ! The Blues won and hold 2nd as a result while victory for the Turbos sees them up a place to 3rd with The Ferdies losing 3 places to drop to 4th in defeat. The unsuccessful Joker play from the Swamp Foxes saw them drop two spots to 5th while a win for The Highlanders saw them up a place to 6th. The Magpies unsuccessful Triple Joker play saw them lose a point and two places while the Kauri Kats also dropped two spots to return to the cellar. Just 7 points cover the entire field with 6 potential Jokers left for the next two rounds. Thanks for playing. Next week we go to Riccarton and Fleimngton
