mardigras Posted June 9 Share Posted June 9 Prior to the recent time, in consecutive races, two horses managed to achieve this twice. Gallant Boy and Patrick Erin both won consecutive races in December 2016 at Ascot Park and December 2017 at Cromwell. In non consecutive races, it happened earlier this year when Shameless Boy and Catherinenz both won at Otaki on January 4. It has happened in Aus and the UK a number of times. Tainui and Waikaha did it on two occasions in early 2014 at Trentham and Hastings (not consecutive races). With both of them winning their maiden on the same day at Trentham.
