Hastings was only an alternative to Te Rapa. I would need to compute all the results chronologically again from the start to include HB. Sorry Richie

Ok that makes sense ,I read original post wrong, thought it was our reserve meeting

Was going to suggest yesterday that we have a sub for Oz races PJ. They seem to have 1-2meetings abandoned every day over there lately.ย  So if SC reprogram by Tuesday we stay ฤบรฌve?

The remaining five races will be scheduled for next Sunday's Sunshine Coast card, with nominations to be taken again.

โ€˜Thatโ€™s according to the acting chief steward.

Correct. Even if they run Wednesday. Those results I published are provisional.

Thanks Gordy. We may go there and keep Caulfield as back-up.

So results today stand for the Round

I have been impressed withย  Lulu Sun's fighting qualities. Serving and hitting the ball really well. She should get a taste of either Court 1 or Centre Court next round, as she comes up against the British golden girl Radacanu. We are off to Wimbledon today, with Mrs M getting her dream day of watching Andy Murray on Court 1.

The only downfall I see in her game is her serve, not that it's bad but doesnt seem to trouble opponents much. But makes up for it in guts and tenacity. Her cross court returns are very accurate too

Was reading up about her last night.ย  Apparently with her strong upper body physique she has a powerful forehand and it also mentally very tough, which she would have to be to beat the darling of British tennis on Centre court

I'd give her a good chance of beating Donna Velic tonight.

She certainly slipped under the guard of the NZ press, who were too busy writing garbage about Razor and his All Blacksย

A right royal chance against an unseeded player. Don't normally watch tennis, but this is becoming rather exciting, and reminiscent of Chris Lewis,s run at Wimbledon.ย  ย

I wouldn't beย  too worried aboutย  her serve. Her over hitting the base line is her biggest era, but I guess that is part of theย  game when you are playingย  aggressive tennis.Vekic has a decentย  serve, so it will be a tight match. Go Luluย

Listened to Darcy on Newstalk last night.ย  He had the president of Te Anau tennis club talking.ย  Lulu Sun first started at the club when she was 13, and they knew there was something special then.ย  She would ring him up whenever she was back in NZ on a break and ask him to line up male players to have a hit against.ย  She used to demolish them.
