(Gee was eliminated in comp race 6) We lost the 4 above in the last and Gee left us after the Dane Ripper. Rob, Howie, Zig, Jammo, LB and former leader Craig all suffered a blank in the Stradbroke but it was Maurice who baggged a ripper BB to rocket home from 9th after 6 to win the day - well done Naki lad ! Black Caviar snagged a 1st/3rd BB to fly home from last to grab 2nd today with Craig slipping back to 3rd after a miss. Anita (BB on the winner) blasted home from 2nd last to secure 4th followed by Pete (3rd), Tassie (2nd/3rd BB), Secret Squirrel (2nd BB), Gary (2nd/3rd BB) and Howie (blank) while Ziggy (blank also) hung on for a point. Blues were sad at the time, when in fact it was an unexpected coup. They ended up in the semis playing the Brumbies who hadn't won at the Garden of Eden since the last century most likely - and the poor ole Hurricanes landed the much, much, much tougher Chiefs in their semi.
